Poison Food And Our Children
It has been stated by a global body of experts that most noninfectious chronic diseases are the result of stress and/or come to us on the dinner plate. I have been a vegetarian for the past forty years, not as philosophical or religious practice but, from my point of view, the only sane response to factory farm practices, Mad Cow disease, increasing use of antibiotics and toxic pesticides in the food supply, genetically modified foods, etc. For the past ten to fifteen years this included fish given overfishing and plastic, chemical, and nuclear contamination of our world’s oceans. In the late 1970’s I took a nutrition class where it was pointed out that there was more nutrition in the box than the contents of many processed foods, so fast food, package and processed foods were out. I have shunned soda and most bottled beverages for decades. Just look at the research on Aspartame and artificial sweeteners. Yuck!
That said, diet and nutrition are so cultural and so personal that I would never suggest that anyone follow my choices. Rather, I encourage everyone to study information in the three links below.
The first is an interview with Dr. Mercola with Dr. Samsel on the Dangers of Glyphosate, the full interview is great and for parents please give special attention to the second video; Zen Honeycutt interview with Scientist Anthony Samsel. Here you find important illustrations correlating Glyphosate used in Roundup, meaning wheat, corn, soy and sugar with asthma, allergies, learning disorders, diabetes and autism.
Second is a classic presentation by Dr. Russell Blaylock Nutrition & Behavior. Everyone should see this.
The third is a New York Times article Can the Bacteria in Your Gut Explain Your Mood? This recommended by James W. Prescott.
The synergy implicit in these presentations is more than compelling, it is life changing.
